The way I see it…

The way I see it…

Preferring to go without, finding the very best bargain
to make your money stretch that little bit further.
Arguing relentlessly with a miniature version of yourself,
just so they will eat their greens!
Running interference between the siblings because,
you know there will be bloodshed, in a minute.
Every day, fishing the school letters out of their bags
or that all important parents evening, will just pass you by.
Never daring to mention the word NITS, you know another
outbreak is just around the corner and it’s almost too much to bear!
Tantrums at bedtime because the kids are dead on their feet but,
they insist on another half an hour.
Ignoring the 17 different requests for dinner because, you’ve already
made a full roast and they can like it or lump it!
Not knowing if you’re doing the right thing as EVERYONE has to
have an opinion, wanted or not!
Getting to watch the tiny person that you made flourish!

Nobody said it was going to be easy, hold on to your hats people
You are in for the ride of your life!

  • I can’t recall the number of times I’ve not had letters home because they are in the bottom of a school bag, been forgotten, hidden under the bed or in a pocket (and quite possibly been washed). This is true parenting!
